How much is the private offer?
Eligible credit union members are eligible to receive a $750 private offer on eligible Chevrolet, Buick and GMC vehicles which is an exclusive discount for credit union members. The Credit Union Member Program from GM can be combined with most current incentives to save even more.

When does the private offer from GM end?
The Credit Union Member Program from GM ends at midnight on September 30, 2015.

Will GM still honor authorization numbers post September 30, 2015?
Yes. GM will honor member authorization numbers for six months from the date of request as long as the number was generated by September 30th. GM will also honor employee purchase authorization numbers for eligible CU employees for six months from the date of issue.

Which GM dealers are participating in this program?
This program is available through all participating GM dealers in the U.S., and is voluntary on the part of the dealers. Please inform your dealer of your intention to use the Credit Union Member Program from GM. 

Does the discount apply to business accounts?
Yes, but if the business purchases more than five cars per year, it will qualify for fleet pricing through GM.

What will I need to provide to a dealer to prove my credit union membership?
Beginning September 1, 2015, members will be required to be a member of their affiliated CU for at least 60 days.  The only proof accepted by GM will be a CU statement indicating that they have been a member for at least 60-days. In most cases this will mean a member will need to provide a redacted statement for the prior month or quarterly statement that includes a date.

Are all GM brands and models eligible for the $750 private offer ?
For the purchase program, most new 2014 and 2015 Chevrolet, Buick and GMC passenger cars, SUVs, crossovers and light-duty trucks are eligible. Cadillac vehicles are ineligible. 

How do I get the Credit Union Discount from GM?
Visit the GM page before October 1, 2015, on the website for instructions on how to receive the credit union member discount. The Credit Union Member Program from GM ends at midnight on September 30, 2015.

Can I combine the discount with current incentives?
Yes, in most cases. Visit your participating GM dealer for details on eligible incentives, or view current incentives at before October 1, 2015 to see how the values add up.

Can I combine this with any GM reward card earnings?
You can combine the $750 private offer with earnings from the GM Extended Family Card or the GM Business Card. Earnings from these GM reward cards are in addition to most current incentives GM may offer.  The Credit Union Member Program from GM is not stackable with the blue, gold, copper or platinum flex cards.

Can I share my $750 private offer?
Yes, you may share the GM discount with other members of your household.

What information is required to register for a personal Authorization Number?
Visit before October 1, 2015. You will be asked for your name, address, state where your credit union is located and the name of your credit union. The Credit Union Member Program from GM ends at midnight on September 30, 2015.

Next, you will be asked to provide your e-mail address and create a unique user ID, password and secret question.

Once logged in, select "Credit Union Member Program" then "Obtain Authorization" and follow the prompts. You will be asked for your date of birth and ZIP Code. Print your authorization number and take it with you to the dealership. You will receive an email confirmation of your authorization number request.

What if the dealer is not aware of the discount programs?
GM has communicated these programs internally to all dealers. Dealers should refer to bulletins 15-40CBE-001 for information concerning the Credit Union Member Program from GM.

What if I do not have an email address, can I still get the credit union member $750 private offer?
Yes, if you do not have an email address please call 866.603.8340 to obtain an authorization number.
